The Fellows Bold: LIVE!

National Waterfront Museum, Swansea

National Waterfront Museum, Swansea

It’s two weeks to go until the Swansea Fringe and our first live taping! I’m certain I speak for not just myself, but for Mr Dan Jenkins too, when I say we are really looking forward to being part of this fantastic event - and to be performing in such a wonderful venue.

Daniel took me on a day trip date type thing when we first started dating that included both Swansea and National Waterfront Museums. I was first introduced to Welsh Cakes in the Waterfront cafe. I never would have guessed Daniel’s face would end up appearing as part of exhibits in both: in Swansea Museum as part of their One Swansea Project, and the Waterfront as Dungeon Master for The Fellows Bold.

Where & When

The show will be a one-off, specially-written dungeon (in the loosest use of the word) set in the home city of Recruitment Centre 64, Whitewyrm. The show starts at 12pm on Sunday 7th October (and finishes at 2pm), and we’d really love to see you there. Tickets are available through Eventbrite - please click here to purchase. There’s also an event page on Facebook.

If you aren’t able to make it, don’t worry - the episode will be available to listen to later on in the year (provided we can record it successfully!)

Check back here next weekend, when we should be revealling who’ll be adventuring with us for this event!

Also at the Swansea Fringe

Local poet, podcaster and boozy dude Adam Sillman will be joining the Fellows for Chapter 4 White Plume Mountain, that starts airing on 8th October. Adam is something of a Swansea legend; he runs a multimedia poetry magazine The Crunch with friend of the show Rhys Owain Williams, and they are the poetry/literature organisers for the Fringe. Adam will be chairing an editors panel event on Sunday, and will be comparing/introducing most of the other poetry events.

We hope to see you then - and in the meantime, we hope you’re enjoying Chapter 3. New episode up tomorrow!
